Match Format

Stage 1 · Group Stage

• 18 teams divided into 6 groups of 3 teams each.
• Every team plays 2 matches within its group.
• The top 2 teams from each group qualify.
• A total of 12 teams advance.

Stage 2 · Super 12 Round

• The 12 qualified teams split into 4 groups of 3.
• Every team plays 2 matches within its group.
• The top 2 teams from each group qualify.
• A total of 8 teams reach the Quarter Finals.

Stage 3 · Quarter Finals

• The 8 qualified teams play 4 knockout matches.
• The 4 winners advance to the Semi Finals.

Stage 4 · Semi Finals

• The 4 teams play 2 knockout matches.
• The 2 winners advance to the Grand Final.

Stage 5 · Grand Final

• The two best teams compete in the Grand Final.
• The winner is crowned the BCAL Local Champion.

Team Rules

• Each team must consist of 7 players.
• Matches are played with a i10/tennis ball only.
• Each innings is 7 overs.
• Teams must report before their scheduled match time.
• Fair play and sportsmanship are mandatory.

Batting Rules

• Played as a proper cricket match — all standard cricket rules apply.
• Batsmen can run between the wickets and take runs.
• Boundary along the ground = 4 Runs.
• A ball cleared over the boundary on the full = 6 Runs.

Match Rules

• A toss is conducted before every match.
• Teams must arrive at least 15 minutes early.
• Late arrival may result in a walkover to the opposing team.
• Schedules and venues are announced by the organizers.
• All matches run under BCAL tournament regulations.

Umpire & Discipline Rules

• The umpire's decision is final and binding.
• Players, captains and supporters must respect all officials.
• Arguing, abusing or threatening officials is strictly prohibited.
• Violations may lead to disqualification, removal from the tournament, cancelled BCAL League qualification, or a ban from future BCAL events.

Refund Policy

• Registration fees are non-refundable.
• No refund is initiated if a team is disqualified for misconduct or rule violations, under any circumstances.

Organizer Rights

• BCAL may modify schedules, fixtures, rules, venues or formats due to unforeseen circumstances.
• BCAL may reject or cancel any registration found violating tournament policies.
• The organizer's decision on all tournament matters is final and binding.

Declaration

• By registering, all teams agree to follow these rules and regulations.
• Teams accept the decisions of the umpires and organizers without dispute.
